Paddle Board Rentals in Woods Cross, Utah
Inflatable stand-up paddleboards for Utah's calm water, picked up at our shop in Woods Cross. Let the air out and a board fits in your car, so there's no trailer to tow.
Want a quieter day on the water? Along with our Sea-Doos, we rent inflatable stand-up paddleboards out of our pickup at 901 S. 1800 W in Woods Cross. A board is $35 a day, and the paddle, pump, leash and a life jacket come with it. Book online in a couple of minutes, or call us at (801) 923-8185 with any questions.
What comes with every board
- An inflatable stand-up paddleboard, with a paddle, a pump and a leash
- One U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket per board (we stock sizes from small child and youth to adult XXL)
- A weight limit of 300 pounds per board
- No damage hold: the board is $35 a day, before taxes and fees
Pickup in Woods Cross
Pick up your board at 901 S. 1800 W in Woods Cross. We’re open 8 AM to 8 PM daily during the rental season, April through October. You must be 18 or older to rent a paddleboard.
Because the boards are inflatable, a deflated board fits in a car. You don’t need a hitch or a trailer; pump it up when you get to the water. Heading out on one of our Sea-Doos too? Add a board to the same trip.
Day and multi-day rentals
Rent a board for one day, or keep it for several days in a row: it’s $35 a day, so two days are $70. Pick your dates when you book online.
Where to paddle
Paddleboards like calm water. On Utah’s mountain lakes, mornings are usually the calmest part of the day, before the afternoon wind builds, so an early start makes for the easiest paddle. Two of our favorites:
- Jordanelle Reservoir, near Park City, about 50 minutes from our pickup. Hailstone’s large wake-free zone is a good spot to learn stand-up paddleboarding.
- East Canyon Reservoir, just under an hour out. It’s a small lake sheltered by its canyon and low on traffic, so the water stays calmer than on the big open reservoirs.
Both are state parks with a day-use fee. For every lake we serve, with drive times from Woods Cross, see our lakes.
Life jackets and Utah’s rules
Utah’s paddle sports rules call for a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket for each person on board, and kids 12 and under have to wear one at all times (Utah Outdoor Recreation (opens in a new tab)). Every board comes with one life jacket, and we stock sizes from small child and youth to adult XXL.
Cancellations and weather
Cancel 11 or more days before pickup for a full refund, or 6 to 10 days before for 50% of the rental fee back. 5 days or fewer before pickup there’s no refund, but if you cancel 1 to 10 days before pickup, we’ll try to re-rent the paddleboards and refund whatever we recover. A cancellation on the day of pickup gets no refund of any kind.
Unsafe weather on your day? You can reschedule, though a rescheduled booking can’t be refunded. Our rental policies have the full terms, and every rate is on our pricing page.
