We’ll be straight with Cache Valley riders: Logan sits at the far north end of our service area, about 75 minutes from our Woods Cross pickup, and Bear Lake (the lake most Logan groups want) is about an hour (40 miles) from town. So the trip takes a little planning, and we’d rather help you get it right than oversell it.
When towing from Woods Cross makes sense
- You want the fleet and the price. Our Sea-Doos are clean, newer machines and our off-lake day rates beat the ramp-side shops, so for a lot of riders that’s worth the drive.
- You’re combining lakes. Picking up with us opens up Utah’s freshwater lakes: Pineview, Willard Bay, or a multi-day run across more than one waterbody. Check ramp status first at those two: in 2026 Pineview’s Port Ramp Marina closed for reconstruction, its Anderson Cove launch closed July 20 for low water, and from August 31 the reservoir was closed to motorized boats. On October 5, 2026, Utah State Parks listed both Willard Bay ramps closed for low water (launch at your own risk).
- You want a multi-day rental. Grab the machines the evening before and they’re yours for the whole trip.
- You’d rather ride close to home. Hyrum Reservoir is Cache Valley’s small, calm state-park lake just south of Logan. It’s about 69 miles from our pickup, so it pairs best with a multi-day rental. Check the ramp status before you tow: on October 28, 2026, the park listed the ramp open, with an advisory.
If Bear Lake is your only stop and time is tight, skip the tow: we deliver to Bear Lake. The delivery fee is per trip and depends on the location, so call us at (801) 923-8185 for a quote, and we’ll help you plan the day.
Bear Lake, the Cache Valley classic
Turquoise, deep, and uncrowded, Bear Lake is at its best early, before the afternoon wind. Plan for the AIS inspection stop on the way in, dress for cold water, and you’ve got one of the best rides in the state. See the fleet and pricing to get started.
Before you launch: from January 1, 2027, Utah requires an annual boating safety course for every driver, visitors from out of state included. Bring proof or we'll brief you at pickup, and every machine goes out clean, drained, and AIS-compliant.
Logan jet ski rental FAQ
How far is pickup from Logan?
Our shop, at 901 S. 1800 W in Woods Cross, is about 75 minutes south of Logan. Bear Lake is about an hour (40 miles) from Logan, so give us a quick call to plan the trip: pick up and tow from Woods Cross, or have us deliver to Bear Lake.
Is it worth towing from Woods Cross if I'm in Logan?
For most trips, yes. You get our newer Sea-Doo fleet at our lower off-lake prices, and you can combine lakes. If Bear Lake is your only stop and you'd rather not tow, we deliver there too; the delivery fee is per trip and depends on the location, so call us at (801) 923-8185 for a quote.
Does Bear Lake need an AIS inspection?
Yes, whenever the inspection station near the state park entrance is open: Utah law says every boat stops, so budget 5–10 minutes. Lake Powell is currently Utah's only water with confirmed quagga mussels, but Utah DWR lists Bear Lake among the waters with Eurasian watermilfoil, so clean and drain your machine before you leave the water, and always tow with the drain plug out.
