The GTX PRO 130 is the machine we put first-time riders and families on. It has a reinforced hull, upright ergonomics, a 130 HP Rotax 1630 ACE engine tuned for reliability, and iBR intelligent brake and reverse, so controlling it at the ramp feels natural instead of intimidating.

It’s not the fastest ride we rent. That’s by design. 130 HP is plenty for Utah Lake on a summer morning or Bear Lake with the kids. Three-rider capacity, stable hull, direct-access front storage for dry bags and towels. If you’re new to jet skis, this is the one. If you rent every year and want to remember what “fun, not frantic” feels like, this is still the one.

We keep it in the fleet for the parts you don’t see. Sea-Doo builds this model with a heavy-duty impeller, drive shaft, wear ring and wiring harness, all designed to last longer. The things you’ll notice help too: a boarding ladder that makes climbing back on from the water easier, and an ECO mode built to save fuel, which is nice when you’re the one filling the tank.

Renting the GTX PRO 130

  • Price: $235 for one day or $470 for two days, before taxes and fees. A full day is up to 12 hours, 8 AM to 8 PM. Multi-day discounts start on rentals of 3 or more days. A set of two is $425 a day for both ($850 for two days).
  • Damage hold: a refundable $500 hold per machine goes on your card on the day of pickup and is released within 3 to 7 business days after the machine comes back in its original condition.
  • Included: two U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets (we stock sizes from small child and youth to adult XXL; extras are $10 a day) and, for pickup rentals, our trailer at no extra charge. It goes out empty and comes back empty on fuel; gas cans are available on request. If you refuel from one, pull the machine out of the water and away from the ramp first, and follow the marina’s own rules.
  • Pickup or delivery: pick it up at 901 S. 1800 W in Woods Cross, or we deliver to Bear Lake, Pineview Reservoir, Willard Bay, Jordanelle Reservoir, Utah Lake and Deer Creek, and to other lakes with our approval (no delivery to Lake Powell). The delivery fee is per trip and depends on the location; call (801) 923-8185 for a quote. While a lake’s ramps are closed, we still deliver, just to a different lake, and if a machine can’t be launched where you planned, we’ll let you know.
  • What you need: you must be 18 or older to rent, and every driver must be 18 or older too. Bring a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance. For pickup, your vehicle needs a 2-inch hitch and a flat 4-prong light hookup.

Want to pull the kids on a tube? Add the tube package (tube and rope, $30 a day) when you book. Towing anyone? Utah requires an observer on board besides the driver, at least 8 years old, and an orange flag displayed when a tow is finished or about to begin. Ask us about a flag before pickup.

GTX PRO 130 FAQ

Is the GTX PRO 130 a good jet ski for first-timers?

Yes. It's the machine we put first-time riders and families on. It seats up to three, and its iBR (Sea-Doo's brake and reverse) starts it in neutral and gives you a brake lever, so it's easy to handle at the ramp. We'll walk you through the controls at pickup, even if you've never been on a jet ski before.

Can I rent two GTX PRO 130s?

Yes. The GTX PRO 130 also rents as a set of two for $425 a day for both machines, before taxes and fees. Each machine comes with two life jackets, the $500 damage hold is per machine, and multi-day discounts start on rentals of 3 or more days.

What comes with the GTX PRO 130?

Two U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets, and for pickup rentals, our trailer at no extra charge (your vehicle needs a 2-inch hitch and a flat 4-prong light hookup). It goes out with an empty tank and comes back empty, and gas cans are available on request; if you refuel from one, pull the machine out of the water and away from the ramp first, and follow the marina's own rules. Add-ons: extra life jackets ($10 a day) and a tube package with rope ($30 a day). We place a refundable $500 damage hold on your card on the day of pickup, released within 3 to 7 business days after the machine comes back in its original condition.
