Blue Wave Jet Ski Rentals is a family-run shop at 901 S. 1800 W in Woods Cross, Utah, renting Sea-Doo jet skis from $235 a day before taxes and fees.

Salt Lake City is our backyard. Our Woods Cross pickup sits about 15 minutes north of downtown SLC, which makes the off-lake model almost too easy: swing by, hitch up a Sea-Doo, and you choose the freshwater lake for the day instead of being tied to one marina’s counter.

Lakes within easy reach of SLC

From the valley you’ve got real range:

  • Utah Lake: big water just under an hour south of our shop, shallow and forgiving, great for first-timers.
  • Jordanelle and Deer Creek: deep, blue mountain reservoirs up the canyons toward Park City and Heber.
  • Pineview and Echo: quick mountain water to the north and east.
  • Willard Bay: wide-open freshwater a straight shot up I-15.
  • East Canyon and Rockport: smaller state-park reservoirs, each a little under an hour from our shop.

Check ramp status first at Pineview and Willard Bay: in 2026 Pineview’s Port Ramp Marina closed for reconstruction, its Anderson Cove launch closed July 20 for low water, and from August 31 the reservoir was closed to motorized boats. On October 5, 2026, Utah State Parks listed both Willard Bay ramps closed for low water (launch at your own risk). Our Pineview and Willard Bay pages have the details.

One note for locals: our machines aren’t allowed in salt water, including the Great Salt Lake, so we point you to the freshwater lakes above instead.

Why pick up off-lake?

Because you pick the machines up from us in Woods Cross, there’s no rental counter to wait at once you get to the lake. Your machine is reserved and ready, the price is better, and you’re not locked to a single lake. You still share the public ramp, so on a busy weekend, get there early. Brand new to it? We walk you through everything at pickup. Compare our three Sea-Doo models on our fleet page, and see day rates on our pricing page.

Before you launch: from January 1, 2027, Utah requires an annual boating safety course for every driver, visitors from out of state included. Bring proof or we'll brief you at pickup, and every machine goes out clean, drained, and AIS-compliant.
